Hey hey, it’s been little time ago I wrote something new here. Anyway, this time only a small update. I worked on the water cooling and on the hinge that connects the IO/Shield with the NEUTRON STAR core body. Later the AIOP will be mounted to that IO/Shield so the AIOP with motherboard and everything else can be swung out.
Sadly, I’m still missing in a graphics card to continue work on the AIOP but the hinge is at a state where I am satisfied with it. Anyway, I attached some pictures of the hinge and some prototypes.
These small thingys will later be printed with -IGUS iglidur® I150-PF, 3D print filament – to reduce friction. They will be connected with an Aluminium rod. The screws will be self-made brass ones.
